Speech Competition

UQJX is proud to announce the return of our Japanese speech contest for a third consecutive year!🎉🎉 This year’s contest promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with two separate categories for entry🥳 In our Beginner category the topic is “１０年前の自分へのお手紙 (A letter to myself from 10 years ago)” (length 2-3 min) For the Open category, the topic is “世界のルールを一つでも変えられるとした、何を変えたいですか？”　(If you could change one rule of the world, what would you change?) (length 4-5 min) ‼️ Note: The beginner category is designed for those with a proficiency equivalent to UQ JAPN 1XXX/2XXX. The Open category is aimed at those at a N3 or above level (or UQ JAPN3XXX) and native speakers. The contest will be held over the course of two days at UQ, with the open category being held on Saturday the 24th of August, and the Beginner category on Sunday the 25th. The contest is open to both high school and university students and there are prizes to be won! Stay tuned to the next post for the sign up link plus info on the prizes😎
